Venture Woman

A publishing company wanted to start a magazine for women business owners, and it hired DiVerse Media President Diane Sears as editor-in-chief. Diane worked with the magazine's publisher to develop an editorial vision, a mission statement, a budget, a staff, and even a name for the publication. Then she helped launch the magazine in only six months by overseeing the development of collateral material and a companion Web site; appearing at events nationwide to introduce the publication to its audience; creating a freelance staff of more than 25 writers, artists and photographers; and writing or editing all of the content.

Digital Owl

A publishing software company was looking for a way to get out the word about its digital rights management (DRM) product and the types of content that would benefit from it. The company hired DiVerse Media President Diane Sears as Director of Content Marketing and she led a team that built a database of digital book titles as well as a database of web sites where the titles could be marketed.
