Excerpt from "The Obvious Expert"
In 2001, we began a search to identify one hundred of the
top minds in consulting – and
all of its related fields. We wanted to compile for our readers
a guidebook on consulting built upon our knowledge and expanded
by the hints, observations and wisdom of the obvious experts
who are out there today defining the consulting profession
through their successes and accomplishments.
The more potential advisors we contacted and interviewed,
the more we realized we could not begin to narrow it to only
one hundred experts. As you read these pages of our best advice
(throughout which you will find liberally sprinkled the advice
of others) you will notice that each page bears a sidebar.
These sidebars are the thoughts and observations that each
of our chosen Obvious Expert Advisors selected to share with
you. We think you will find these sidebars sometimes profound,
sometimes funny and always extremely helpful.
